I feel like 2016 was a year of personal growth for me. I learnt a lot about myself, other people in my life and really changed for the better. While there was a long list of things I wanted to do last year, and I didn’t really feel like I got much of it done, there were a lot of more important things to deal with, which I did. So there’s that. But now we have a clean slate and a new year.
For 2017 I want to do more, see more, be more. This means that, for the new year, I want to go places and see new things, but also improving myself for the better. As much as I want to go out in the world and do things, I also want to learn new skills and find new hobbies.
My new Nib + Ink book is a tool for one of these, since I want to learn calligraphy. I also want to learn new business and digital skills to go along with my career. I want to read a wider range of books and see if I can try to find a new genre I love. I want to learn how I can really stick to my low FODMAP diet by learning so many new recipes that will work with it.
These adventures will be documented on this blog. As a reader, you might find something you want to try after I’ve trialled it. You might see things that I talk about that you have no interest in, but do know that I’ll likely talk about each new thing once and not forever.
