Saturday was my first time meeting a bunch of the #brunchclub bloggers. I have now accomplished one of my firsts I wanted to achieve this year, and I really enjoyed it. It was great to talk about our blogs, as well as all the other things we all have in common. We changed seats part way through so I got to talk to quite a few people. I’m looking forward to the next one so I can meet even more of them.
And the food, it was amazing. Even though they are small, delicate plates, they are full of flavour. I would definitely go again. I had the Bacon and Eggs, a pork belly and scotch egg dish as my entrée and the Lamb for the main, with the white chocolate and almond mousse for the dessert. Each had all kinds of flavours and textures and I must say, that main is the first time I have enjoyed kumara in ages. I’m not the most adventurous eater, but I still loved every bite.
If you’re wanting a gourmet lunch but you aren’t mega hungry, give it a try.
